Using aircraft to view potential real estate investments is a smart move. It affords one a perspective that is unmatched by simply looking at property from the ground. While there are obvious reasons for this such as seeing the neighbor’s property and knowing what the land looks like. Viewing more area enables one to spot a nearby chicken or hog farm, which may just wind up spoiling that afternoon BBQ or cocktail party by the pool one has in mind.
Which aircraft do I use to make the effective use of my time in Panama?
Fixed wing aircraft are extremely helpful when you are not quite certain of the area to invest in yet and need to see many places first. Using the Piper Seneca II, you can visit many places in one day that otherwise might take three or four days when factoring in airline schedules and ground transport. It is quite possible to visit Isla Contadora, Pedasi, and Boquete in one day -- albeit a full one at that. However, you can be back in your five-star hotel for the evening, relaxing by the pool. You have time to reflect on what you have seen and prepare to revisit the areas that seem most attractive to you.
Generally, helicopters are the preferred choice for this activity as they enable hovering over the property for photo/video opportunities while also being able to land for a closer look.
Simply put, for real estate investments outside of Panama City, helicopters give you an incredible vantage point to see the local surroundings and put things into perspective. Before making a purchase, a view from on high may be just what’s needed to get the whole picture up close and personal.
