Not all charter brokers are equal. We occasionally see them pop up here in Panama.
Panama’s aviation regulations require brokers to identify themselves on their home page, which we do. Others do not and create the impression they operate the aircraft they feature by saying “our” aircraft. That should be a red warning flag for you.
Why use us?:
We save you a lot of time in figuring out the best operator for your mission profile. You do not pay more for our services. We earn our commission by knowing the capabilities of each operator and which aircraft are correct for your flight.
Some websites feature charter jets in Panama. Simply put, there are no jets for charter based in Panama. Either Panama registered or otherwise. Now, does that mean we can’t arrange for one if needed? No. We simply call our preferred providers in the US or elsewhere to arrange a flight. They are FAA 135 or equivalent meaning they are legal for charter operations.
Consumer tip:
All legal charter aircraft registered in Panama have specific tail numbers. For example: HP1599SX. The two letters after the number indicate this aircraft has a commercial registration belonging to SkyMAxx Corp. and is legal for charter work. (The numbering system does not apply to US registered aircraft though.)
But how do you know whom you are dealing with? Simple: Ask for their tail number designation. A list of charter operators is available here -- though the aircraft listings are not current.
